INTERNS WANTED!
Boneau/Bryan-Brown, a major theatrical publicity firm, is looking for energetic and reliable undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in theatre and/or communications for internship positions.
A representative collection of BONEAU/BRYAN-BROWN's current and upcoming clients includes: Annie, The Book of Mormon, Follies, Jersey Boys (Broadway; London; Las Vegas; Sydney, Australia and National Tour), Mamma Mia! (NY, National Tours, and numerous international productions), Million Dollar Quartet, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Private Lives, Relatively Speaking, and Stomp (New York, Las Vegas, London and the European Tour).
Interns will work directly with press agents and press assistants on a variety of projects.
Basic Responsibilities:
The internship includes daily phone/fax/mail tasks, filing, errands, social networking and computer assignments. Interns will have the opportunity to participate/follow through with various special assignments and events throughout the semester. Necessary skills include: ability to multi-task, excellent phone manners, and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Interns must be self-motivated, responsible, well-spoken, organized, detail oriented, and computer literate. The position also includes administrative duties such as basic computer work, covering reception and assisting the Administrative Manager/Executive Assistant to the Partners in the daily operations of the office.
This internship is a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, and is ideal for any student with an interest in communications, public relations, or theatre. Committed individuals should be able to work under a deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment, as well as have the ability to multitask and be able to initiate on projects and follow through.
Interns receive complimentary tickets to productions handled by our office, and opportunities to receive tickets to other theatrical productions & entertainment events. Business casual dress code. Fun working environment. We generally hire from within.
Intern schedules are flexible between 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are looking for a minimum commitment of 25-hours per week. Full and part-time schedules are available.
